I was looking through news stories today when I came across something about a Free Paris demonstration, and as I read it I thought I should post about this story in a what's-the-world-coming-to-when-people-protest-about-this sort of way, and I say that as someone who likes Paris (see my previous post on the subject). But anyway after clicking through and seeing the photos of the event (which i'm not posting or linking to purposefully) I decided that the story was more, how little does an event be before it isn't news? This demonstration seemed to consist of one bloke and one woman dressed as Paris. News?
I've also given a little more thought to the why we hate Paris question, which i'll post here later.
